Boston Project Trip

A few weeks ago, the team and I packed our bags and jetted off to Boston for an exciting work week! We had the chance to put the finishing touches on a client’s gorgeous home tucked away in one of the city’s most charming historic neighborhoods. The trip overall was a total feast for the eyes from the charming streets and rich history to the beautifully detailed architecture we were lucky enough lay eyes on. Every detail felt like eye candy, and we soaked up every moment.

Contessa

The best lunch spot, with the best city views! Contessa is a beautiful restaurant providing wonderful views of Back Bay and yummy Italian cuisine. We enjoyed this delicious Squash Carpaccio appetizer.  To the exceptional floor detailing to the ambient lighting this North Italian inspired restaurant really did have it all! Galerie d’Orsay

We had the opportunity to visit Galerie d’Orsay– and it did not disappoint! Martha, the gallery’s co-director, gave us a tour of all their available work along with knowledge on each piece. Nestled in the heart on Newbury St, this beautiful gallery is home to some of the finest works of art, and we are happy to have selected some of their pieces to put in our Boston Project. The artwork truly brought the spaces to life. The staff was a huge help in the selection process and made our trip there so much fun!  While we were sourcing art, we were also taking it all in. Each exhibit reminded us how powerful art is and how it shapes out a space.  Galerie d’Orsay had so much to offer and it was truly a visit to remember! BTS Photoshoot Day!

The day we were all anticipating - photoshoot day! We kicked things off bright and early, meeting Jessica and Sean at our client's home. The day was filled with all the fun photoshoot duties: steaming, arranging florals, and bringing the vision to life. It was a full day of creativity, teamwork, and making magic happen behind the scenes. From styling each shot to adjusting every little detail, the day was a whirlwind of creativity, collaboration, and hard work. There’s something so special about watching a vision come to life piece by piece. We can't wait to share the final photos with you!

Boston Public Garden

We had the chance to walk around and explore the beautiful greenery Boston Public Garden has to offer. From the winding paths to charming footbridges, this garden curated a relaxing energy that stayed with us throughout our trip. The blossoming tulips gave us a breath of fresh air and made for a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city! We were also lucky enough to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom. It was an unforgettable sight that made our strolls through the city feel like a dream.

Architecture

Boston is home to some of the most historic and beautifully preserved architecture in the country. As we wandered through the storied streets, we were struck by the intricate craftsmanship on so many of the buildings. One of our favorite finds? This stunning column featuring delicate acorn and leaf detailing. All of the architecture had us pausing every few minutes to take it all in. We couldn’t help but admire the stunning details and timeless charm around every corner. We really appreciated and loved how much care Boston takes in preserving the historic buildings and it made our experience all the more meaningful!

Saltie Girl

The team and I wrapped up our last night in Boston with dinner at Saltie Girl, and it was the perfect ending to our trip! Nestled in Back Bay, this chic seafood spot offers a modern twist on New England classics. If you're ever in Boston, we highly recommend checking it out. You can check out their website for more information! The proper New England sendoff called for a lobster roll and clam chowder and they did not disappoint. Every detail, from the ambiance to the flavors, was thoughtfully crafted and made the experience extra special!
