Intuitive Textiles: A Fabricut Spotlight

Curated with Soul

Creating a soulful home means looking at every aspect of a room, leaving no detail unnoticed. This ensures every texture and finish finds true purpose. In our projects, fabrics are selected with careful attention; all layers that bring warmth, function, and beauty to the space. To achieve this delicate balance, our team often turns to the thoughtfully composed textiles of Fabricut. With an intuitive blend of rich color and pattern, each Fabricut collection has a unique way of breathing vibrance into intimate spaces.

Vibrant Variations

Living rooms infused with thoughtful patterns inherently bring a welcoming tone into the space . In one of our projects, this Jean Monro floral fabric paired with these chairs bring an immediate layer of visual interest and add a touch of playfulness. The green drapes highlight the natural scene of the outdoors and bring an organic feel. It is these seemingly simple design choices that allow a room to feel timeless and fresh simultaneously.

The entryway of a home is a beautiful first impression—a thoughtful introduction to the story told inside. In this space, the design unfolds symmetrically: on one side, we utilized a striking Fabricut Toula Key wallpaper within the wall insets, pairing it across the way with a botanical forest pattern on the console table finished with textured blue fringe on the bottom. Together, these two elements establish a tone that feels grounded, yet lively. Fabricut’s expansive library is exactly why we find ourselves continuously reaching for their collections. They effortlessly bridge the gap between soulful, statement patterns and the enduring staple solids every home requires.

Blending Traditional and Modern

In the completed spaces of this full-home remodel project, traditional and modern elements are effortlessly tied together through a curation of furniture and finishes. Here, elegant antique chairs find a contemporary rhythm when paired with a modern, geometric textile from Fabricut. Nearby, a sofa with a soft silhouette is draped in a Heavenly Blue striped fabric by Jean Monro—creating an atmosphere that feels timelessly composed.

Designing Versatility

Anchored by commanding architectural details like the fireplace and built-in shelving, this living room is balanced by softer hints of texture. Within the insets of the custom built-ins, a subtle, peppered print by Stroheim provides an added backdrop for a collection of character-rich antique elements. Nearby, sleek ottomans upholstered in Fabricut’s Amalfi leather flank the fireplace, grounding the hearth. These carefully considered elements—chosen entirely for the personality and soul they bring to a room—effortlessly elevate an otherwise neutral space into something memorable.

Playful, Functional Beauty

In this purple-inspired kitchen, a Liberty London floral fabric paired with these wooden barstools strike the perfect balance between form and feeling. Because this high-traffic space is frequently filled with visiting family, durability is just as essential as visual appeal. To honor both needs, we laminated the Fabricut fabric—ensuring the chairs remain easy to clean without compromising the vibrant, playful charm they bring to the heart of the home.

Blending Color

Soulful spaces are inherently rich in character, built upon statement pieces that tell a story. Here, we find Fabricut in the details: a lilac linen chair by the fireplace, rich velvet seating detailed with custom blue trim, and crisp linen drapes harmonize beautifully. Finally, this tailored leather ottoman grounds the entire setting. Each of these elements was brought together through an intuitive selection of Fabricut textiles—drawing from their collections to craft a balance of pattern, color, and texture that feels elegant and established.

Collected with Character

Layering is a defining EJD quality, and this particular living space is a great example of how we build depth using different nuances of a single hue. From the rich, color-drenched walls to the abstract green drapes and velvet, block-patterned chairs, the room pulls together in a vibrant, sophisticated way—demonstrating that when green is thoughtfully layered, it creates an atmosphere that feels both expressive and cohesive instead of overwhelming.

Natural Cohesion

We selected the same fabric throughout each of the repurposed casual garage spaces in our English Traditionalist. Located on the drapes and roman shades, the pattern—Fabricut’s Erebus—adds a quiet layer and a soft sense of movement to each room. Selecting such a versatile material throughout these spaces creates an organic cohesion that feels entirely natural.

Finishing Touches

Designing with Fabricut’s extensive library brings versatility to our work. Whether our design calls for a bold, statement piece or a touch of subtle character, Fabricut’s range of colors and designs allows us to seamlessly pull from their collections to incorporate them into our projects. Our close relationship with Kristen at Fabricut makes the design process seamless, helping us find unique fabrics and wall coverings that bring each project to life.
